Create Your Public Profile using Zoominfo

CREATION TIME: 5-15 Minutes
PURPOSE: Control your personal profile and increase your visibility on the Web with an up-to-date profile.
SELLING POINT: Zoominfo has in-depth profiles on over 45M business people and 5M companies.
DIRECTIONS:
- Go to http://www.zoominfo.com/
- Click the “Sign in” link in the upper right
- On the “Sign in” page, enter your Email Address and Password
- Click the “Login” button
- Click the “My Account” link in the upper right
- In the “My Profile” callout, click the “Public Profile” link
- On the “Create Your Public Profile” page, click the “Change Image” button
Note: A “Change Image” popup window will appear
- In the “Change Image” popup, click the “Browse” button
- Locate and select a photo of yourself
- Click the “Save” button
- Congrats! You have successfully updated your photo.
- Now, click the “Edit Contact Info” button
Note: A “Contact Information” popup window will appear
- In the “Contact Information” popup, enter your City and Zip Code
- Select your Country
- Select your State/Province
- Check the box next to “Allow people to contact me through this email.”
- Enter your work phone and another phone number where you can be reached
- Click the “Save” button
- Congrats! You have successfully updated your contact information
- In the “Employment” section, click the “Add” button
Note: An “Add Employment” popup window will appear
- In the “Add Employment” popup, enter your company name, title
- Select your start and end dates
- Enter your Company Website address
- Enter your City
- Select your Country
- Select your State/Province
- Click the “Save” button
- Congrats! You have successfully updated your “Employment”
Note: To add additional positions held, simply click on the “Add” button under “Employment”
- In the “Board Membership and Affiliations” section, click the “Add” button
Note: A “Board Membership and Affiliations” popup window will appear
- In the “Board Membership and Affiliations” popup, enter your organization name, title
- Select your start and end dates
- Enter your Organization’s Website
- Enter your City
- Select your Country
- Select your State/Province
- Click the “Save” button
- Congrats! You have successfully updated your “Board Membership and Affiliations”
Note: To add additional organizations, simply click on the “Add” button under “Board Membership and Affiliations”
- In the “Education” section, click the “Add” buttonNote: An “Add Education” popup window will appear
- In the “Add Education” popup, enter your Institution name, Degree, and Area of Study
- Select your Enrollment Year
- Select your Graduation Year
- Enter your Institution’s Website
- Enter your City
- Select your Country
- Select your State/Province
- Click the “Save” button
- Congrats! You have successfully updated your “Education”
- In the “Certifications” section, click the “Add” button
- Enter the Certifying Organization and Certification
- Select the “Year Received”
- Click the “Save” button
- Congrats! You have successfully updated your certifications
- In the “Biography” section
- Click the “Add” button
- Write your biography
- Click the “Save” button
- Congrats! You have successfully updated your “Biography” and have created a strong public profile using Zoominfo.
